All About Will Aid

Will Aid is a unique partnership between the legal profession and nine of the UK's best- loved charities. In November, participating solicitors waive their fee to draw up a basic Will and instead ask their clients to consider making a donation to the Will Aid charities.

Since it launch in 1988, Will Aid has raised more than £7 million in donations. This money has been put to work to supply people with life's essentials like clean drinking water, food and health care. It has given children opportunities to learn and much more. It has enabled people to live, build their communities and improve their future.

Will Aid is endorsed by the Probate Section of the Law Society and celebrity supporters like Richard Briers OBE, Annette Crosbie, Dame Judi Dench and Graham Norton.

Make a Will and help charity

Making a Will with Will Aid is easy. Just use this link to find a convenient participating solicitor, and contact them directly to make a convenient appointment.

The solicitor will not charge you for drawing up a basic Will, but will instead invite you to make a donation to Will Aid. The suggested donation level is just £75 for a single Will, £110 for a pair of 'mirror' Wills and £40 for a codicil to an existing Will. You will get a professionally drawn up Will and the peace of mind that comes from knowing you have protected your loved ones' future. Your donation will make a real difference to people in need around the world. If you choose to leave a gift to one or more charities in your Will, you will be helping to ensure that their vital work can continue to benefit future generations.
